11.10. Working News - Pawtrekker National Championships Jämi 2009

This weekend Garcon Jewel Jade "Jade" had her first official rig race in 4 dog class. Finnish championship titles naturally went to x-breeds and siperian huskies, but Jade's team finnished as a 2nd best malamute team in her class. The whole team worked really hard through the weekend and achieved astonishing total average speed of 20,79 km/h! Course was 4,41 km long so the total distance for the weekend was 8,82 km. Jade also received her first working dog result "REK1" (best result you can get)! Not bad from her first official race, not bad at all... Excellent job Jade!! Congratulations to the team & musher Tero!

27.9. Working News - Pekolan Pakolliset

Garcon Jewel Jade "Jade" at her first rig race today in 4 dog class (3 malamutes in her team). Weather was maybe a bit too warm, but the team still managed to score a very good average speed of 19,31 km/h on a 2,5 km course through alternative terrain finishing at 2nd place among malamute teams. Her owners were very pleased in her performance today and are looking forward to the next race!
